Numerical Investigation on the Dynamic Responses of Subway Carriage Due to Internal Explosion
Utilizing the Euler-Lagrangian coupling method and the LS-DYNA nonlinear finite element pro-gram,a full-scale simulation model of a subway carriage was developed,taking into account the impact of the carriage structure on the explosion flow field.A comparative study was conducted on the propagation characteris-tics of explosion shock waves in two scenarios:in an empty tunnel and within a subway carriage.The impact of explosive charge weight on the dynamic response of the subway structure was also analyzed.The results show that there are significant differences between the explosion loads inside and outside the carriage.Inside the carriage,the explosion wave experiences reflection and superposition,leading to substantially lower overpressure peaks compared to those in the absence of the carriage,and the waveforms are more complex.Additionally,as the ex-plosive charge weight increases,the influence of the carriage on the peak pressure of the subway structure weakens.
