Research on the digital planning of rail transit——Transport corridor analysis and route layout
To achieve the effective integration of rail transit and urban space, and harness the guiding influence of transport corridors in urban development initiatives, this article elaborates on the concept of transport corridors and how they interact with rail transit routes.Building upon this,it proposes a research approach to ascertain the functionality of rail transit routes, service levels, alignment schemes, technical standards, etc. To achieve this, this article analyzes transport corridor functionality and public transport characteristics. Then, using Xiamen municipality as an example, this article applies data analysis methods and spatial models to analyze transport corridors. This analysis includes an examination of transport corridor functionality based on spatial econometrics,an assessment of route functionality based on public transport characteristics, and a matching analysis between transport corridor volumes and rail transit level systems. The goal of this is to guide the optimal layout of rail transit routes. The research results indicate that through the application of spatial econometrics, analysis of public transport card usage data, and other quantitative research methods,it is feasible to capture the characteristics of transport corridors comprehensively and effectively. These findings serve as a basis for identifying the functionality of rail transit, predicting passenger flows, determining the optimal layout of routes and stations, selecting the appropriate system type, and establishing technical standards.
