Research on the design and application of cross-platform transfers in urban rail transit
Cross-platform transfers in urban rail transit play a crucial role in transportation interchange,as they are capable of enhancing the efficiency and comfort of passenger transfers,thus drawing considerable attention.On the basis of elaborating on urban rail transit interchange modes and their advantages and disadvantages,this article firstly introduces the application value of cross-platform transfers and provides an overview of related technical research.This article then proceeds to detail the design considerations,advantages,disadvantages,and challenges associated with cross-platform transfer stations.Building upon this,it analyzes two typical cases of cross-platform transfer design by taking the Hong Kong metro as an example.Finally,this article proposes relevant suggestions on the planning and design of cross-platform transfer stations,aiming to serve as a valuable reference for the research and implementation of cross-platform transfer in urban rail transit.
