Research on the construction of unattended metro smart stations
In response to the rapid development of smart technology and the imperative for cost reductions and operational efficiency improvements, many cities have begun to promote the construction of metro smart stations. However, challenges such as the immaturity and integrity of smart technology, the absence of supporting standards, and the unclear value of the entire life cycle have hindered the realization of fully-automated smart stations operating seamlessly across entire lines and around the clock. To address these challenges, this article proposes a smart station-level classification scheme based on the development trends of smart technologies and the changes in the responsibilities of smart station service personnel. The proposed scheme categorizes smart stations into five levels:manual service stations,semi-self-service stations,self-service stations, centralized monitoring stations, and unattended stations.Additionally, this article outlines a construction roadmap and a systematic approach for the step-by-step implementation of unattended smart metro stations, drawing from various operational scenarios of metro stations. These insights offer both theoretical guidance and practical references for the construction of smart metro stations.
