Research on the issue of the abnormal pantograph and OCS wear on Tianjin metro line 6
Rigid suspension catenary lines in metro systems often encounter abnormal pantograph and OCS wear, posing significant security risks to train operations.Addressing the abnormal pantograph and OCS wear phenomenon on Tianjin metro line 6,this article initially studies the interrelation between pantographs and OCS within rigid suspension catenary lines. It subsequently proposes evaluation criteria for identifying abnormal pantograph and OCS wear states during maintenance, application, and research processes. With these criteria in mind, this article tracks and analyzes the changes in the abnormal pantograph and OCS wear on Tianjin metro line 6 during the winter of 2021-2022,particularly considering environmental humidity levels.Furthermore,it scrutinizes the key factors influencing the abnormal pantograph and OCS wear. The findings indicate that winter tunnel humidity predominantly contributes to abnormal pantograph and OCS wear. Therefore, maintaining tunnel humidity levels between 35%to 65%,optimizing the following and traveling modes of pantographs and OCS,as well as carrying out regular maintenance on carbon contact strip and OCS lines are conducive to alleviating abnormal pantograph and OCS wear in winter. This research offers valuable theoretical insights for solving the abnormal pantograph and OCS wear in metros with rigid suspension catenaries.
