Research on the application of rail grinding vehicles under urban express railway lines with a speed of 160 km/h in fully underground tunnels
The urban express railway line of Guangzhou metro represents China's first fully underground tunnel urban express line, boasting a speed of 160 km/h.However,during its operation, different degrees of rail corrugation damage have been observed.According to statistical analysis, such wear is prone to occur in long straight sections, acceleration and deceleration sections near platforms, and in certain curved sections.Typically, the average depth of corrugation on steel rails is generally 0.07 mm,and the extended length of rail corrugation exceeding 0.04 mm is generally 1-1.5 km.To address this issue, this article summarizes and analyzes the new grinding requirements and conducts application research on the GMC-20 rail grinding vehicle produced in China.Through the optimization of grinding methods and employing a sequence of grinding three times followed by burnishing once, the 1-1.5 km rail grinding operation can be completed within a single operation point. This approach enables the swift and effective elimination of rail corrugation damage, enhancing both grinding efficiency and quality to meet operational needs.
