Research on the optimization of transfer of last trains in urban rail transit networks based on a progressive optimization algorithm
As an important part of the urban public transport system, urban rail transit is experiencing a rising share of passenger traffic.Optimizing the transfer of last trains in rail networks has become the key to improving the travel experience of passengers and optimizing the efficiency of resource allocation. This article proposes an optimization method for transfer of last trains based on a progressive optimization algorithm of transfer of last trains, which is the combination and progression of three algorithms:the optimization algorithm of transfer of last trains, the extended optimization algorithm for increasing transfer station stop times, and the optimization of transfer of last trains by way of temporary passenger pickup by returning trains. To maximize the transfer passenger flow, the three algorithms expand the optimal solution step by step, from one-way transfer connections to two-way transfers. The effectiveness of this approach is verified by practical research with Shijiazhuang rail transit used as a case study. The results demonstrate that the optimization method of transfer of last trains based on progressive optimization algorithms is not only highly adaptable but also highly practical, and it holds significant importance for improving the operational efficiency and service quality of urban rail transit.
