Exploration and practice of Beijing rail transit network planning
As a mega-city,Beijing has entered a new development stage and is confronting new development requirements,so the planning of its rail transit network needs to also adapt to change.To give full play to the service and leading role of rail transit network planning in the high-quality urban development in Beijing,this article looks at the major issues and the new development requirements faced by network planning of the Beijing rail transit.Based on the analysis and summary of the transformation characteristics of rail transit networks in terms of planning targets,means and scope,this article explores new concepts for network planning of the Beijing rail transit in terms of serving the capital city,urban coordination,multi-net integration,fine service,innovation and implementation,and puts forward practical suggestions on rail transit services serving the capital,collaborative city environment,multi-network integration,refined services,and implementation of creativity,etc..Based on these,this article proposes relevant targeted practical recommendations to provide references and an example to build on for further improving and optimizing the network planning works of Beijing rail transit,as well as promoting the high-quality integrated development of rail transit and the city.
