Research on the integrated design of urban comprehensive transportation hub and surrounding areas under the concept of"sewing"-Taking Shenzhen Dayun comprehensive transportation hub project as an example
With the advancement of urbanization in China, the gap between the functions of old and new urban communities has widened, and issues such as unbalanced traffic allocation have gradually become prominent, especially in the urban renewal area of large cities, affected by the early construction of large-scale transportation infrastructure, the surrounding land and urban space for subsequent development have been isolated, resulting in an overall fragmented development. To address the aforementioned issues, this article takes the Shenzhen Dayun comprehensive transportation hub project as an example,on the basis of analyzing the current development status and existing issues of the urban renewal area where the hub is located, based on the concept of"sewing"(i.e.urban sewing),the design strategies and innovative methods for the integrated design of the hub and surrounding areas are proposed from four aspects:sewing of urban transportation, sewing of urban function, sewing of urban space, and sewing of ecological texture,so as to achieve the organic integration of multiple elements such as urban transportation, space, and ecology, and to provide reference and inspiration for similar projects.
