Analysis of pedestrian walking speed influencing factors in urban rail transit stations based on microscopic behavior analysis
The construction and operation of urban rail transit have promoted the improvement of urban transportation system and socio-economic development. With the increase of passenger flow, the contradiction between the pedestrian walking demand and the equipment for guiding pedestrian flow inside the station has led to an increase in walking time of passengers. This article conducts data research by selecting the Chongqing Jiaotong University station on line 3 of Chongqing rail transit, dividing pedestrians into three groups by age,and formulating 23 independent variables. To investigate the influence of independent variables on pedestrian walking speed,a regression analysis model based on pedestrian micro behavior is established, with pedestrian walking speed as the dependent variable. Finally, based on the regression results,10 sets of variable parameters that have a significant impact on the walking speed of pedestrians in the station are selected,so as to assist urban rail transit stations to improve their service level and increase the efficiency of pedestrian traffic in the station.
