With the booming development of urban rail transit in China,the post-lifecycle management of vehicles deserves urgent optimization.This article proposes an integrated solution centered on"vehicle lifespan extension+support of repair system and process and maintenance procedure"to enhance vehicle performance and reduce lifecycle costs.This article analyzes the issues with the traditional repair system and process and proposes a new repair system and process and maintenance procedure to cater with current needs,formulating the whole process of vehicle life extension,in which the special life assessment is crucial,providing basic information for lifespan extension renovations.After the renovation,measures such as matching of repair system and process and maintenance procedure and ensuring spare parts supply are implemented to ensure the safety,reliability,and availability of the vehicles.To ensure the orderly development of lifespan extension works,establishing a scientific lifespan extension standard system is a crucial aspect of the sustainable development of urban rail transit.It is necessary to clarify lifespan extension strategies and processes to standardize assessment,renovation,inspection,decommissioning and other relevant tasks.
