With the rapid advancement of urban rail transit,there has been a significant increase in the quantity of signal equipment.The intelligent operation and maintenance system for signal equipment,serving as a crucial tool for monitoring the operational status of signal devices,has gained considerable attention from both academia and industry due to its role in ensuring train operation safety and enhancing operational efficiency.This article seeks to analyze the current state of academic research on intelligent operation and maintenance systems for signal equipment within urban rail transit by leveraging technologies such as big data,5G and artificial intelligence to thoroughly extract insights from monitoring data.It aims to establish expert knowledge repositories,fault case databases and health assessment for equipment,improve the existing system to predict potential failures in a more accurate manner and offer more precise and efficient fault resolution strategies for on-site maintenance personnel.The improved intelligent operation and maintenance system of urban rail transit signal could safeguard the maintenance quality of urban rail transportation signal equipment,improve the fault disposal efficiency and reduce the cost of equipment maintenance.
