Analysis and suggestions on the development experience of urban region(suburban)railway in the metropolitan area-Taking Chengdu metropolitan area as an example
Promoting the construction of urban region(suburban)railway is a necessary way to build a metropolitan area on the rail and promote the development of metropolitan area.Confronting the reality that China's urban region(suburban)railways are still in the initial stage of development,with issues such as confusion in name definition,inconsistent technical standards,unclear functional positioning and unsatisfactory operational effects,this article takes Chengdu metropolitan area as an example,analyzes the current development status of its urban region(suburban)railways,and summarizes its innovative and practical experience in the development of urban region(suburban)railway from the aspects of technical standards,laying methods,vehicle selection and formation,transportation organization mode,operation management mode and public transportation type transformation.On this basis,relevant suggestions for the development of urban region(suburban)railways in China's metropolitan areas are proposed from the perspectives of planning,construction,operation and financing,so as to provide an example to build on and reference for the establishment of a more economically efficient and functionally reasonable urban region(suburban)railway system.
