Design, research and development of overrun monitoring system for station half-height screen gates based on image analysis technology
The ground or above ground elevated stations of urban rail transit normally utilizes half-height screen gates of approximately 1.5 m to prevent passengers from accidentally falling off the platform when waiting for the train. As the door body of half-height screen gate cannot completely isolate passengers from the rail area,it is easy for passengers to enter the track area by overrunning the screen gate, which causes casualties and large-area operation interruption of operation safety accidents. To address this issue, based on the mainstream image intelligent analysis technology, this article designs, researches and develops a set of half-height screen gate overrun monitoring system through means of target detection, target tracking, image recognition, among others. This system could carry out identification, monitoring and alarming against passenger overrun behavior, effectively identifying abnormal behavior of passengers overrunning and send the alarm information to the station integrated control room,so as to facilitate the timely discovery and disposal by station duty personnel. The application of the system will effectively improve the safety management level, emergency disposal effic、iency and intelligent management level of stations.
