Optimization strategy of the construction period for foundation pit projects adjacent to metro and its practical effects
With the rapid development of urban construction, the importance of metros in urban transportation has become increasingly prominent. However, the construction of foundation pits adjacent to metro lines poses significant impacts and challenges to the operation of metro and the surrounding environment.Finding a solution to minimize the impact on metro operations and the surrounding environment while ensuring construction safety and quality has become an urgent issue. This article systematically draws on relevant research findings and the practical case of the underground foundation pit construction at Suzhou Shishan plaza to propose a scheme for optimizing the construction period of foundation pits adjacent to metro. The proposed measures include phased optimization and merging, segmented excavation and reserving core soil, aiming to shorten the construction period and reduce the impact of construction on metro operation and the surrounding environment.Additionally, this article also discusses the implementation process and effect evaluation of each optimization measure in detail, summarizing one set of optimization scheme suitable for foundation pit construction adjacent to metro. The proposal of this scheme not only provides feasible solutions for similar projects, but also offers strong reinforcement for the development of construction and operation of urban metro.
