Research on ventilation and smoke exhaust scheme for tunnel fire in non-operating connection line of metro
The smoke control and exhaust design scheme for non-operating of metro connecting lines generally adopts the method of installing jet fans to assist in smoke exhaust. This scheme generally requires two sets of jet fan in the tunnel of the connecting line section. There are significant hidden dangers due to the difficulty of inspection and maintenance for these jet fans during operation.A research method combining SES numerical simulation and on-site actual measurement was adopted to study the ventilation and smoke exhaust schemes under the fire conditions of the connecting lines in Zhengzhou metro line 1 and line 2.The smoke exhaust effects by seven types of ventilation and smoke exhaust conditions without using jet fans were compared and analyzed. The research results showed that, when the jet fans were not turned on under the actual fire conditions in connecting line tunnel,if all four tunnel ventilation fans at the exhaust station needed to be turned on for smoke exhaust, and at least two tunnel ventilation fans needed to be turned on for air supply at the supply station,It could ensure that the smoke exhaust wind speed was greater than the critical speed and meet the ventilation and smoke exhaust requirements of the sections.Jet fans can be eliminated to reduce the workload of operation and maintenance and reduce the hidden dangers in the track area.Simultaneously analyzing the impact of the number of running supply and exhaust fans on the ventilation and smoke exhaust effect, the results show that, with the same number of running fans, the ventilation and smoke exhaust effect of adding exhaust fans is better than that of supply fans. Moreover, when the number of running fans is fewer, the effect of adding exhaust fans is more significant.
