Digital Industrial Cluster:Origin,Connotation,Characteristics and Research Framework
Digital industrial clusters are a key strategic choice for grasping the new round of information technology revolution and building national competitive advantages.First,the reasons for the rise of digital industrial clusters are analyzed from three aspects:digital technology emergence,support from government policy,and enterprise's digital transformation.Second,this paper elaborates the characteristics of digital industrial clusters from geographical space,industry scope,collaboration manner and governance mode.Furthermore,by following the approach of"operating carrier-development target-governance mechanism-evolution process",it is proposed to conduct research on digital industrial clusters from theoretical perspectives such as platform perspective,network perspective,institutional perspective,and population ecology perspective.Finally,it is proposed to conduct scientific and standardized analysis of important issues related to digital industrial clusters using methods such as case studies,quantitative research,social network analysis,and qualitative comparative analysis.
