中欧班列开通对企业进入和空间布局的影响效应研究

摘要
中欧班列作为"一带一路"倡议的重要举措,在大国经贸摩擦、贸易保护主义抬头等复杂外部环境下,对构建新发展格局和促进地方经济发展发挥着重要作用.本文基于中欧班列开通这一准自然实验,采用双重差分法考察中欧班列对企业进入和空间布局的影响效应及作用机制.研究发现:(1)相比于未开通中欧班列的区县,开通中欧班列的区县每万人新注册企业数量增加27.198 1个,中欧班列开通吸引了企业进入.经过系列稳健性检验后,该结论依然成立.(2)中欧班列开通对企业进入的吸引作用在高经济水平地区、中部和西部地区表现更为明显.(3)中欧班列开通会通过集聚效应和知识溢出效应对企业进入产生吸引作用.(4)中欧班列开通吸引企业进入的辐射范围大致在200km以内.本文为揭示中欧班列开通如何影响微观企业的区位决策与经济活动的空间分布提供了重要参考.
Abstract
As an important measure of the Belt and Road Initiative,the China-Europe Railway Express has played an important role in building a new development pattern and promoting local economic development in a complex external environment.Based on the quasi-natural experiment of the opening of the China-Europe Railway Express,this paper uses the difference-in-difference method to investigate the impact and mechanism of the opening of the China-Europe Railway Express on the entry and spatial layout of enterprises.The results show that:(1)Compared with the districts and counties that have not opened the China-Europe Railway Express,the number of newly registered enterprises per 10,000 people in the districts and counties that have opened the China-Europe Railway Express is 27.1981,indicating that the opening of the China-Europe Railway Express has a promoting effect on attracting enterprises to enter.After a series of robustness tests,this conclusion is still valid.(2)The attraction effect of the opening of the China-Europe Railway Express on the entry of enterprises is more obvious in the high-level economic regions,central and western regions;(3)The opening of the China-Europe Railway Express will attract enterprises to enter by improving regional economic density,population density and knowledge spillover;(4)The opening of the China-Europe Railway Express attracts enterprises to enter the radiation range is concentrated within 200km.This paper provides an important reference for revealing how the opening of the China-Europe Railway Express affects the location decision-making of micro-enterprises and the spatial distribution of economic activities.
