General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward the concept of new quality productivity,which has significant strategic significance for the high-quality development of China's economy and Chinese-style modernisation.Based on the data of Chinese A-share listed companies from 2010 to 2022,this paper explores the effect of enterprise digital transformation on new quality productivity.It is found that enterprise digital transformation significantly promotes the development of new quality productivity of enterprises.Mechanism analysis shows that the promotion effect of enterprise digital transformation on enterprise new quality productivity mainly works through exerting the effect of scientific and technological innovation and alleviating financing constraints.Heterogeneity analysis reveals that the promotion effect of enterprise digital transformation on enterprise's new productivity is more significant among private enterprises,ordinary polluting enterprises and high-tech enterprises.This paper enriches the research on the economic effect of enterprise digital transformation and provides certain theoretical references for the sustainable development of enterprises.
