Promoting the digital transformation of the economy and society is an important starting point for building a digital China.Using the sample of A-listed companies in China from 2011 to 2017,this paper empirically studies the impact of government service informatization on enterprise digital transformation.The results show that government service informatization has a significant promotion effect on enterprise digital transformation.Government service informatization improves enterprise digital transformation by reducing operating cost,optimizing human capital structure and improving innovation capabilities.The impact of government service informatization on digital transformation is more pronounced in SMEs,enterprises with high financing constraints,and enterprises in regions with better business environment and stronger digital finance.Furthermore,government service informatization exhibits spatial spillover effect on digital transformation.This study provides references for promoting the digital transformation of enterprises and the innovation of government governance concept.
