Government Meeting Survey and Private Enterprise Innovation Vitality:Evidence from a Survey of Chinese Private Enterprises
This paper uses data from the 13th Chinese Private Enterprise Survey(CPES)to examine the impact of government meeting surveys on the innovation vitality of private enterprises.Research has found that government conference surveys have a significant role in promoting corporate innovation.Mechanism analysis shows that for entrepreneurs,government meeting surveys promote corporate innovation by improving private entrepreneurs'policy perception and self-status perception;for the government,government meeting surveys help improve the business environment and provide Provide environmental support for corporate innovation.Heterogeneity analysis found that,relatively speaking,among enterprise groups without political experience,government meeting surveys can play a better role in promoting enterprise innovation.Finally,government meeting surveys can boost the development confidence of private entrepreneurs and help them cope with expected economic and social risk impacts.
