Distribution Characteristics and Susceptibility Assessment of Landslide Hazards in Yinghu Town,Ankang,Shaanxi
Landslide susceptibility assessment is a basic scientific prerequisite for hazard prevention and mitiga-tion efforts. The Hanbin District in Ankang,Shaanxi,is a landslide disaster-prone area, and provides an ideal opportunity to study landslides. In this study, the Yinghu Town in Hanbin was selected as the study object, and 10 impact factors were selected, which includes elevation, relief, slope structure, aspect, elevation variation coefficient, cover layer thickness, slope, normalized vegetation coefficient(NDVI),distance from roads and distance from rivers.Based on the slope unit, frequency ratio(FR)was used to analyze the distribution charac-teristics of the landslides.Landslide susceptibility assessment in the study area was performed based on the logistic regression frequency-ratio method(LR-FR),and further the results were analyzed and validated. The results show that the elevation variation coefficient, relief, aspect and distance from roads were the main control-ling factors of the landslide in the study area;the success and prediction rates of LR-FR were 0.804 and 0.843,respectively;the area with extremely high susceptibility is mainly distributed on both sides of Yinghu Reservoir, near roads, and rivers, which accounts for about 33.66%of all slope areas, includes landslide areas of 1.08 km2,84.36%of all landslide areas. There is a satisfactory agreement between the susceptibility map and the existing data on landslide distributions, indicating that the susceptibility assessment results are accepta-ble.The results of the study provide an important scientific reference for the control of geologic hazards in Ying-hu Town of Hanbin District,as well as for the landslide susceptibility assessment in other areas.
