Diagnostic value of serum YKL-40,TFF3 combined with color Doppler ultrasound for endometrial cancer
Objective:To observe the diagnostic value of serum human chitinase-3 like protein 1(YKL-40),trefoil-factor 3(TFF3),and color Doppler ultrasound for endometrial cancer(EC).Methods:From August 2020 to August 2023,112 patients with endometrial canc-er admitted to our hospital were regarded as the study subjects(EC group),and 117 patients with benign endometrial lesions were as the control group(endometrial benign lesion group).Doppler color ultrasound diagnostic instrument was applied to perform vaginal examinations a-mong patients in two groups.ELISA was applied to determine serum YKL-40 and TFF3 levels.ROC curve was applied to analyze the diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasound and serum YKL-40,TFF3 for EC.The consistency Kappa test was applied to compare the consistency be-tween color Doppler ultrasound,YKL-40,and TFF3 alone and in combination for the diagnosis of endometrial cancer and pathological results.Results:Compared with patients with benign en-dometrial lesions,the serum levels of YKL-40 and TFF3 in patients with EC were obviously in-creased,the average thickness of the endometrium was increased,the levels of blood perfusion index(PI)and resistance index(RI)were obviously decreased(P＜0.05).The area under the curve for diagnosing endometrial cancer using color Doppler ultrasound,YKL-40,TFF3 a-lone and in combination was 0.773,0.771,0.852,and 0.938,respectively.The consistency be-tween color Doppler ultrasound combined with serum YKL-40 and TFF3 in diagnosing endome-trial cancer and pathological results was extremely high,with a Kappa value of 0.878.Compared with color Doppler ultrasound,YKL-40,and TFF3 alone,the specificity and accuracy of the combined diagnosis for endometrial cancer obviously increased,and the misdiagnosis rate obvi-ously decreased(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Color Doppler ultrasound combined with serum YKL-40 and TFF3 in the diagnosis of EC can effectively improve accuracy and specificity,reduce misdiagnosis rate,and have important clinical value.
