The fundamental Difference in viewing human nature leads to diverse cultural modes as well as kinship addressing patterns in Chinese and Western context.Based on the basic principles of cultural structure theory,this paper tries to give a deeper a⁃nalysis of kinship addressing under Chinese and Western backgrounds,and provides some reference in regard of cross-cultural com⁃munication and understanding.
