Characteristics of Spatial and Temporal Distribution of Carbon Emissions at Major Prefecture and Municipal Levels in Shanxi Province and Analysis of Influencing Factors
By analysing the spatial and temporal distribution characteristics of carbon emissions in eight prefectural and municipal levels in Shanxi Province from 2005 to 2019,and through structural decomposition,we analyse the impacts of factors such as different urban land use types,industrial structure and energy consumption structure on carbon productivity.The results show that carbon emissions in Shanxi Province show an upward trend.The level of carbon productivity is generally low,with low carbon productivity in transport land use,high carbon productivity in other service land use,and large differences in the distribution of carbon productivity in industrial land use in different regions.The development of the tertiary industry has a contributing effect on local carbon productivity improvement.The situation of over-reliance on fossil energy for development in Shanxi still exists,and the development and utilisation of clean energy is still insufficient.Based on the results of the study,corresponding countermeasures are proposed.
