Case-Based CCER Calculation and Economic Analysis of Offshore Wind Power Project
China Certified Emission Reduction(CCER)is a set of policy tools developed by the National Development and Reform Commission with reference to the Clean Development Mechanism(CDM).It aims to develop voluntary GHG emission reduction projects suitable for China and quantify the GHG emission reduction effect of the projects.By exploring the CCER development process of offshore wind power project, selecting appropriate CCER project development methodology, calculating project emissions, baseline emissions and emission reductions of case-based project, and analyzing the economic benefits generated by CCER project development based on the latest CCER transaction prices. The results indicate that the development of CCER projects for offshore wind power project can generate substantial benefits, improve the internal rate of return on investment, shorten the payback period of investment, promote the implementation of related projects, and further promote the development of low-carbon economy.
