Under the background of international and domestic traditional manufacturing industries transferring to countries and regions with lower labour costs,Laibin,as a"pilot city of regional coordinated development"in the hinterland of Guizhong,is embracing significant development opportunities,but also facing great challenges.Focusing on the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry in Laibin,we investigate the current situation of the manufacturing industry in Laibin,analyse the main problems,and put forward countermeasures and suggestions,with a view to providing some references for the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry in late-developed areas like Laibin.
