Rapid Additive Forming Technology and Experimental Analysis of Screw Rotors in Air Compressors
This article attempts to use SLM technology to add materials to form screw rotors.Several performance experiments were designed before forming, and the mechanical properties of the formed samples before and after annealing and in different forming directions were analyzed. It can be concluded that the average density of the samples is about 97%,and the overall quality is good; The strength of forming in the XY and Z-directions meets the forging standards, and the plasticity of forming in the Z-direction is better than that in the XY direction;By comprehensively considering the longitudinal forming of the screw rotor and designing the support structure and scanning strategy, the screw rotor was successfully formed with an average size error of around 100,which can directly enter the precision grinding stage.
