Role of Geographical Indication Protection Strategy in the Development of Speciality Medicine Industry
The Daoji production areas of Guan medicines mainly include the three eastern provinces and the northeastern part of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,and their formation is attributed to the unique regional climatic,hydrological and soil conditions.Ginseng,deer antler,schizandra,and spikenard have advantages in tonic and health care,and the rest of the varieties are commonly used in clinical practice,which have a good material basis to support the development of health industry.The strategy of geographical indication protection is of practical value in the excavation of medicinal species,the integration of industry,academia and research,and the development of branding strategy,which can serve the regional economic development and the"One Belt,One Road"strategy.
