A Study on the Impact of Service Trade Opening on China's Manufacturing Servicization before and after CAFTA Upgrade
The average level of service trade openness of China to ASEAN as a whole is lower than that of ASEAN as a whole to China, and with the upgrading of CAFTA,the levels of both are on an upward trend and the fluctuation amplitude tends to slow down.Individual countries in the ASEAN FTA have different levels of services trade openness to each other, but China has a higher level of openness with Singapore,Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam.Using the national input-output table to measure the level of China's manufacturing input servitization and output servitization,it is found that both show a year-on-year upward trend, and the increase in the level of manufacturing input servitization is more pronounced after the upgrade of CAFTA.the upgrade of CAFTA has a significant contributing role to the improvement of the level of China's manufacturing servitization, and the level of China's opening up of trade in services to ASEAN has a greater greater impact, while the level of ASEAN's service trade openness to China has a relatively smaller impact on the servitization of China's manufacturing output.
