Research on the Impact of Digital Infrastructure Construction on the Upgrading of Industrial Structure in China
Based on the panel data of 31 provinces in China from 2011 to 2021,this paper employs a two-way fixed-effects model to empirically investigate the impact of digital infrastructure construction on industrial structure upgrading.The research reveals that the construction of digital infrastructure significantly promotes the upgrading of the industrial structure.Even after introducing different potentially omitted variables,the research conclusions are consistently confirmed.Considering the lag effect of digital infrastructure construction and re-estimating its lagged period,the study finds that digital infrastructure construction continues to significantly promote industrial structure upgrading.
