With the rapid development of the global economy,digital technology has become an important force to promote the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry.Digital technology helps to improve production efficiency,reduce costs,optimise resource allocation,and provide strong support for the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry.As an important manufacturing base in China,how to achieve high-quality development with the help of digital technology in Henan Province is an urgent problem to be solved at present.From the perspective of digital empowerment,the paths and policy recommendations for green transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry in Henan Province are discussed in terms of strengthening policy guidance,focusing on digital talent cultivation,and digital infrastructure construction,in the expectation of providing certain reference and reference for the green transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry in Henan Province.
