Low-Voltage Cable Cross-Section Calculation Based on IEC Standards
According to the IEC standard,examples of calculations are given for low-voltage motors under rated operating conditions and starting conditions,and detailed steps are given for the selection of motor cables.In fact,the calculation of cable cross-section should be coordinated with the relay protection of the distribution circuit,which is not considered in this paper for the time being.
