Economic and Technical Analysis of 150 000 t/a Coking Wax Oil Hydrogenation Project
The latest findings on the physical and chemical properties of coking wax oil,market status and domestic research progress on hydrotreating technology were reviewed.This paper further discusses how to convert delayed coking wax oil from a petrochemical refinery into feedstock suitable for catalytic cracking by hydrotreating.It is pointed out that hydrofining process can effectively remove sulfur,nitrogen and other nonmetallic impurities in coke wax oil,and significantly reduce the content of carbon residue,thus improving the conversion efficiency of coke wax oil and gasoline yield.It is designed to optimize the cracking performance and increase the processing capacity by reducing the coke generation rate of the catalytic cracking unit.
