Analysis of Steam Seal Modification Scheme and Its Effect on Steam Turbine
In order to reduce the steam leakage loss and heat consumption of the steam turbine, the high and medium pressure cylinders are partially modified by applying Braden steam seal and gap optimisation, and the low pressure cylinders are modified by gap optimisation. After the modification, the economy of the existing slip pressure curve of the unit is verified by test. After practical application, the efficiency of the high and medium pressure cylinders of the modified turbine is increased to 84.6%and 92.08%respectively;the leakage rate of the steam seal is reduced to 1.8%,which is 0.2%lower;the amplitude of each axial tile is less than 80 m;the energy consumption is reduced by 225.39 kJ/kW-h,the energy consumption of the power supply is reduced by 10.32 g/kW-h,and the annual savings of 40,000 t of standard coal can be made, which is a remarkable energy-saving effect.
