Equipment Manufacturing Agglomeration,Innovation Capability and High-Quality Economic Development in Liaoning Province——A Study Based on Mediating Effect and Threshold Effect
In recent years,with China's economic transformation and upgrading,the equipment manufacturing industry in Northeast China has gradually transformed from"manufacturing"to"intellectual manufacturing".Under the background of the comprehensive revitalization policy of Northeast China,the panel data of equipment manufacturing industry of each major city in Liaoning Province from 2012 to 2019 are analyzed empirically to explore the relationship between the agglomeration of equipment manufacturing industry and the high-quality development of the economy in Liaoning Province,from the regression results,there is a threshold effect of the agglomeration of the equipment manufacturing industry on the high-quality development of the economy,and the impact of the equipment manufacturing industry on the high-quality development of the economy will be reduced when the degree of industrial agglomeration reaches a certain value.When the degree of industrial agglomeration reaches a certain value,the influence of equipment manufacturing industry agglomeration on the development of high quality of the economy shows a significant positive correlation,and innovation ability plays a part of the intermediary role,the equipment manufacturing industry agglomeration through the influence on the innovation ability,and then affects the high quality of the economic development,and this effect is more obvious in the eastern part of Liaoning province,which means that Liaoning province should continue to develop advantageous industries,enhance the degree of equipment manufacturing industry agglomeration,form scale effect,better promote the high quality development of the economy,and contribute to the high quality development of the northeast China.This means that Liaoning province should continue to develop advantageous industries,improve the degree of equipment manufacturing industry agglomeration,form scale effect,and better promote the high-quality development of the economy to contribute to the revitalization of northeastern China and add bricks and mortar to the development of the country.
