Analysis of ESG Practice Effect of Baoshan Iron & Steel Co.,Ltd.
In order to explore the role of practicing ESG concepts on company performance,this paper takes Baosteel as an example to sort out its environmental,social and corporate governance practices and further explore the impact of implementing ESG on company performance.The results show that ESG practices help improve the corporate governance structure,thus enhancing the risk-resistant ability of the company;ESG practices motivate companies to increase R&D investment,improve innovation output,and contribute to the improvement of the operational efficiency of the company;ESG practices can also enhance the corporate image,expand the sales market of the products,and thus improve the profitability of the company.
