Artificial Intelligence and the New Quality Productivity Forces:Empirical Evidence from Chinese Manufacturing Listed Companies
This paper,based on data from Chinese A-share manufacturing companies listed from 2011 to 2022,delves into the impact of artificial intelligence on the new quality productivity forces.The research findings indicate that artificial intelligence effectively enhances the level of new quality productivity forces in enterprises.Mechanism tests reveal that artificial intelligence can promote technological innovation within enterprises,thereby improving the level of new quality productivity forces.Heterogeneity analysis results demonstrate that the positive role of artificial intelligence in promoting new quality productivity forces is more pronounced in companies with a higher degree of digital transformation.The results of this study not only provide experience for further promoting the construction of artificial intelligence but also offer effective policy implications for the subsequent leap in corporate new quality productivity forces.
