A Study on the Impact of ESG Performance on Green Innovation of Nonferrous Metal Enterprises
Using the data of China's non-ferrous metal companies listed on A-share market from 2013 to 2021,the relationship between ESG performance and green innovation of non-ferrous metal companies is empirically examined.The study shows that better ESG performance of enterprises promotes their green innovation,and this promotion is found to be more obvious in state-owned enterprises in the moderating mechanism analysis.Heterogeneity analysis shows that the facilitating effect of ESG performance on corporate green innovation is more obvious in large enterprises and after the implementation of relevant policies.
