Performance Analysis of Corporate Mergers and Acquisitions Based on Entropy Value Method—Taking Midea's Merger and Acquisition of Little Swan as an Example
Based on the case of Midea Group's successful merger and acquisition of Little Swan,the ins and outs of Midea Group's merger and acquisition of Little Swan are introduced by analyzing the background,motivation and process of the merger and acquisition case.Secondly,taking Midea Group as the research object and the home appliance industry as the background,the financial performance evaluation system is constructed by using the entropy value method,and the weights of each index and the comprehensive score are calculated by comprehensively considering four aspects,such as debt repayment,operation,profitability,and growth ability.By analyzing the performance of Midea Group and based on it,we find out some problems and put forward corresponding suggestions.By studying this case,we can better understand the motivation,process and impact of M&A,and provide reference for future M&A transactions.
