The Impact of the Cyclical Exercises of Health-related Physical Fitness in Physical Education Classes on Physical Health of Junior High School Students
This study treated 189 students from five classes in Grade 7 as research subjects and adopted a three-factor(5×2×2)experimental design with a total of 8-week interference. The findings have shown that the cyclical exercises of health-related physical fitness can effectively improve exercise load in class and increase students'energy consumption so that physical exercise load in class can be maintained at a relatively stable load range. Also there exists a significant difference in all these factors in comparison with those of the control class. Moreover, the cyclical exercises of health-related physical can help improve students'body composition and have a positive effect on improving students'cardio-respiratory endurance, muscle strength, muscular en-durance(high-intensity classes),and flexibility(static standing and PNF stretching classes). In terms of gender, boys'standing long jump has been more improved than girls, while girls'flexibility has been more improved more than boys'.
