Exploration of Teaching Strategies for High School Writing Based on the Most Valuable Knowledge
The clarification of"what knowledge is most valuable"helps develop a deeper understanding of high school writing teaching in the knowledge perspective, and find effective teaching strategies.By integrating Anderson's Taxonomy of knowledge and Taylor's curriculum theory, and analyzing the characteristics of writing-related knowledge in the unified textbooks,it is evi-dent that procedural knowledge and metacognitive knowledge should be valued. However, current writing instruction overempha-sizes factual and conceptual knowledge, which creates dilemmas of knowledge selection such as stylistic concentration and focus shifting.Accordingly, the following teaching strategies are proposed:restoring actual processes and emphasizing preparation and revision;providing process guidance with the help of form tools;and emphasizing social interaction scenarios and linking to real life.
