Inquiry-based Experimental Teaching of Junior High School Mathematics Based on Van Hiele Levels of Geometric Thought
Van Hiele Levels of Geometric Thought is a basic theoretical framework of geometry teaching, which has been widely applied in students'geometric thinking level assessment and classroom teaching design.Mathematical experiments can en-able students to participate in and creatively experience the formation and development of geometric knowledge and methods, which is an important way to improve students'geometric cognition and non-cognition(learning interest and efficacy).Mathemati-cal experiment teaching can be designed and implemented according to Van Hiele's theories in terms of experimental elements, experimental principles and experimental paths. In the course of practice, further research can be done from the scientific nature of tests on student'levels of geometric thought, and the matching between phases of teaching and thinking level.
