How Can Rural Teachers Become Excellent—The Construction of Excellent Teacher Education Curriculum for Rural Areas
The positioning and planning,optimization mechanism and paradigm reconstruction of teacher education curricu-lum are the cornerstones for promoting the sustainable professional development of excellent rural teachers.Conducting the cre-ative action research on the education curriculum for excellent teachers in rural areas can provide examples for rural teacher train-ing.Yet there still exist such issues as the difficulty in deeply ingraining rural sentiment among teachers,the relatively frag-mented and isolated training mechanism for rural teachers,and the lack of intrinsic motivation for professional development among rural teachers.In order to tackle these challenges,it is essential to develop a series of courses that emphasize humanistic care,cultural immersion,and capacity building,to build a community practice path of"universities-government-country schools",and to establish a"guiding,supporting,enhancing"mechanism for teacher training and research.
