体育锻炼对青少年学业成绩的影响:效应及特征

体育锻炼对青少年的学业成绩具有积极影响,以 2020 年江苏省义务教育质量监测中的 15 万份小学生问卷为样本,采用泛精确匹配加权回归计算体育锻炼的效应大小,采用Shapley值分解技术比较体育锻炼和作业时长、课外补习的贡献率大小,采用分位数回归技术分析体育锻炼对不同类型学生学业成绩的影响.研究发现,体育锻炼对学生学业成绩的提高具有"高效"价值,贡献率高于单纯的学业投资,对于"学困生"有更好的促进效应,并且能够缓和小学生家庭背景造成的不利影响.基于此,政策层面应当继续坚持减负的大方向;学校管理者应当为学生的"校外 1 小时"创造条件;家长应当转变"重文轻武"的养育观念;教师可考虑以体育锻炼作为教育干预措施来改善学生的学习.
The Influence of Physical Exercise on Academic Achievements of Adolescents:Effects and Characteristics
Physical exercise has a positive impact on adolescents'academic performance.Using a sample of 150,000 el-ementary school student questionnaires from the compulsory education quality monitoring of Jiangsu Province in 2020,this study calculated the effect size of physical exercise by using pan-precise exact matching weighted regression,compared the contribu-tion rates of physical exercise with homework duration and extracurricular tutoring by using Shapley value decomposition technol-ogy,and analyzed the impact of physical exercise on academic performance of different types of students by using quantile regres-sion.The study has found that physical exercise has a"high efficiency"value in improving students'academic performance with a higher contribution rate than purely academic investment.It also has a particularly beneficial effect on"struggling students"and can mitigate the adverse impacts of family background on primary school students.Based on this,it is recommended that the policy should continue to adhere to the general direction of reducing academic burdens;school administrators should create condi-tions for students to have one hour of physical exercise outside school;parents should shift their focus from an emphasis on aca-demic study only while neglecting physical education;and teachers may consider using physical exercise as an educational inter-vention to improve student learning.
