An Analysis of the Contents of Life Education in Unified Chinese Textbooks for High Schools
Research has found that the contents of life education are well integrated into the unified Chinese textbooks for high schools,and the selected texts comprehensively cover 3 categories and 8 sub-categories of life education,of which life and social contents account for the largest proportion,especially focusing on"cultivating life emotions"and"cultivating a sense of so-cial responsibility".The unified Chinese textbooks for high schools pay particular attention to the"texts of narrative"and"those of role models"in both explicit and implicit presentation.Based on the above research results,this paper has put forward the sug-gestions from the following two aspects of textbook design and use:from the perspective of textbook design,the special character-istics of the subject of Chinese language should be followed and the principle of organic integration should be adhered to;the por-trayal of different lives should be emphasized to enrich students'emotional experience;content distribution should be enhanced and attention should be paid to the coordinated development of life education literacy.In terms of textbook use,it is necessary to change educational concepts and attach importance to the life education value of the textbooks;the internal and external resources in the textbooks should be integrated to enrich the content of life education;and teaching methods should be flexibly chosen to op-timize the teaching effect of life education.
