Study on Teachers'Willingness and Influencing Factors to Participate in After-School Service in Primary and Secondary Schools under the"Double Reduction"Policy
Under the"Double Reduction"policy,after-school service has become a strategic initiative to promote high-quality development in primary and secondary education in China.The survey of this study show that(1)the overall willingness of primary and secondary school teachers to participate in after-school services is moderate,and it is positively affected by behav-ioral attitude,subjective norm,and perceived behavioral control;and that(2)behavioral attitude and perceived behavioral con-trol indirectly affect teachers'willingness to participate in after-school service through subjective norm.Based on these research findings,recommendations are put forward,including 1)combining value guidance with incentives to foster a positive attitude to-wards participation in after-school services,2)enhancing humanistic care to increase perceived subjective norms,and 3)build-ing a professional support system to strengthen perceived behavioral control for teachers'participation.
