The Dilemma and Breakthrough of Issue-based Teaching in High School Ideological and Political Class
"From teaching to learning"is key in basic education teaching reform. This goal-oriented reform towards core lit-eracy has introduced a series of activity-oriented teaching methods into the classroom, with issue-based teaching being a focus"from teaching to learning"in high school ideological and political classes. However, practical challenges such as replacing is-sues with questions, using virtual or false contexts instead of real situations, and limited time-space environments hindering coop-erative tasks have led to the dilemma of"discussion without activities".To tackle this dilemma and promote the transformation from"teaching to learning"in ideological and political classes, this paper suggests deepening the understanding of the new cur-riculum reform concepts, correctly applying related concepts, making full use of vacation for embodied interdisciplinary assign-ments,promoting true learning in the classroom with the"three-issue discussion"teaching model, and using extended assign-ments to build a bridge from cognitive activities to social practice activities.
