To carry out context-based teaching of high school chemistry aiming at scientific literacy,it is necessary to cor-rectly understand the connotation of scientific literacy and context-based teaching of high school chemistry,and to consider the teaching strategies of context-based teaching of high school chemistry aiming at scientific literacy from the aspects of teaching ob-jectives,teaching content,teaching practice,and teaching evaluation,so as to find the difficulties in the practice of context-based teaching of high school chemistry.The context-based teaching of high school chemistry aiming at scientific literacy imple-ments the cultivation of scientific literacy into real and effective teaching situations,breaks the isolation between textbook knowl-edge and the solution of social practical problems,achieves the migration of chemistry learning and social reality,helps students improve their ability to solve real problems,and should pay attention to the effectiveness of chemistry context-based teaching de-sign,enhance student participation,and promote the evaluation of the effectiveness of chemistry context-based teaching.
