Based on the expansion project of the Taicang-Changzhou section of the Shanghai-Wuhan Expressway,the re-search summarizes and analyzes the characteristics and commonly used technical methods of the exploration for the expressway renovation project in the plain soft soil areas of Jiangsu Province,and proposes a work method suitable for the exploration of expressway renovation and expansion projects in plain soft soil areas.
